Purchases – Fixed Fees
The Fees shown below are exclusive of VAT. These fees include dealing with your Stamp Duty Land Tax return and the Land Registry application.
You should also anticipate the costs of the following disbursements. (VAT where applicable has already been taken into account in the prices shown for disbursements below).
There may also be Stamp Duty Land Tax payable depending on the price you are paying and your circumstances. Click here to calculate what Stamp Duty Land Tax, if any, is payable.
NB: The above prices assume a freehold, registered (one whole title) established property with no mortgage.
If you are selling and a mortgage is to be redeemed, then the above quote will increase by £165 + VAT. If you are purchasing with a mortgage then the above quote will increase by £450 + VAT.
Please note we are not currently taking instructions on purchases of shared ownership, new build development, leasehold or Help to Buy scheme purchases (save for Help to Buy ISA).
Please note there may be additional costs and disbursements, for example:
- If legal title is defective or any part of the property is unregistered;
- If we are dealing with separated parties;
- If the correct compliance documentation (planning, building regulations etc) is not available;
- If statutory declaration(s) are required;
- If indemnity insurance is required.
