Court Of Protection

When someone you are close to is unable to deal with their own affairs we can advise and assist in applications for a Deputyship Order.  A Deputyship Order may be required for a person who lacks mental capacity and threfore may need a deputy to deal with their personal affairs, pay for care home fees and/or sell or invest assets.  A deputy may also be required to make decisions about someone’s personal welfare.  We have specialists to assist with applications for Deputyship when someone you are close to is unable to deal with their affairs, and guide you through the various options, the process and the forms required.  We can also register with the Court if required.

We have experienced lawyers who can act as a deputy.

We also have expertise in administering Lasting or Enduring Powers of Attorney for those who have lost capacity to run their own financial affairs.
